Getting Started

To be completed within 5 months of taking on a role.

This is part of your Induction to Scouting, or to your new role in Scouting, which ensures you have received the support you need at this time.

The Specific Modules to validate depends on your role:

During this time, you should also attend an Appointment Panel Interview and be allocated a Training Adviser. When in doubt this is your Local Training Manager until they allocate someone else, or the County Training Manager, if there is no Local Training Manager. You should also have support from your Group Scout Leader, District Explorer Scout Commissioner, your Section Leaders and other members of the section leadership team in your Group.
