Roadford Lake Camp leaders were made to walk the plank! PDF Print E-mail
Written by Marc Coton

Everyone who attended Roadford Lake camp received the Cub Pirate BadgeRoadford Lake saw the the return of Captain Hook, and a nasty piece of work he is too.  He was there trying to protect his treasure but there was an ugly bunch of pirate crews competing to find it in the form of the Mid Devon Distict cubs.  The threat of rain wasn't enough to dampen the spirits of these sea farers as they gathered around the flag pole flying the pirate flags to find out how they could solve the clues to locate their treasure chest of bounty.  The first task was the night hike, with explorers (some of the ugliest i've seen!) hiding along the way to challenge each pack to solve some puzzles and collect a grid reference.
