County Training Active Support Unit

We are always looking for new faces to join the County Training SASU. People of all ages, backgrounds and experiences, from all sections, are needed to help manage and deliver adult training. Training of other leaders is fun and can be very rewarding particularly helping to pass on skills to the next generation of leaders.

Vast experience in Scouting is not necessary, although you will have already completed your first Woodbadge.

Whatever your interest in Scouting there is a module that reflects this from Programme to Administration, from Practical Skills to Working with Adults. Since most modules are only a couple of hours long you can offer as much or as little time as you like.

No formal qualifications are needed, and we would help to train you if necessary in the trainerís presenting and facilitating modules. If you are enthusiastic about Scouting, and enjoy communicating with others please consider joining the friendly and approachable team.

If interested, please contact the County Training Manager
